Tomlinson’s Cafe and Bunkhouse provides low cost accommodation overlooking the River Coquet in a newly converted Grade 2 listed former schoolhouse that dates back to 1841.
Ideal for families, groups and independent travellers, our five, dormitory-style bedrooms sleep a total of 28. Most rooms have an en-suite shower room.
Furnished in a comfortable contemporary style, exactly what you need after a day in the fresh air, you can choose from a family room or opt for double, single or bunk beds.
Guests can mix in our communal lounge, equipped with TV and DVD player. The lounge overlloks the River Coquet, famous for salmon fishing and views beyond to Simonside, Cragside and Debdon.
WiFi is available free of charge to all our guests.
